The details of the Italy Retreat are still being worked out, including the exact dates in September. There are so many beautiful places in Italy to enjoy, but one strong possibility for the workshop is Cinque Terre (The 5 lands). Cinque Terre is part of Liguria on the Italian Riviera coastline, which is dotted with romantic fishing villages, rocky cliffs and sandy beaches. Flower growing is one of the most important Ligurian businesses, and the mountain valleys are covered with basil, rosemary, thyme, and marjoram that are used in the local cuisine. The Cinque Terre towns, walking paths, and waters are actually a National Park. "The Five Lands" is comprised of five villages: Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, and Riomaggiore. Paths, trains and boats connect the villages and cars cannot reach it from the outside.
